This month’s craft was extremely easy and straightforward to create. As I try to provide cheap and quick projects for everyone to do, I find this one to be just that. All items can be bought at your local Dollar Tree for less than $10. Since I have a hoard of crafting supplies and tools, I only spent about $4 for the three Halloween pieces. The project is as simple as painting the wooden pieces however you would like and simply attaching them together using ribbon or string, and boom! You have new door decor for the month of October. Craft of the Month: Wire Bunny Head Wreath

April’s craft of the month is here, and I’m so pleased with the finished product of my project. I found this beautiful gem on Pinterest (they never disappoint with the endless ideas of DIYs) and could not resist it. Easter is right around the corner, so why not craft a super cute bunny wreath for your front door? The wreath was easy, quick, and cheap to create; most of the supplies were found at my local Dollar Tree! If you would like to accomplish this project, I have listed the supplies and steps below. Of course, the goal is to be creative so make any adjustments to whatever fits your interest.

Supplies Needed:

Large Wire/Metal Wreath
Burlap
Fabric (optional)
Jumbo Rope (amount varies by size of wreath- I used 5 from D.T)
Flower Stems
Floral Garden Greenery
Hot Glue Gun and Sticks
Scissors
Yarn/String

Steps:

Use burlap to cut one circle (using wreath as a template) and two bunny ears (four for firmer ears- preferred)
Use fabric to cut two smaller inner bunny ears
Create hanging hook by tying yarn to wreath
Wrap wreath with jumbo rope until covered completely (tuck and hot glue ending pieces to the back)
Glue burlap circle to the back of wreath
Combine bunny ears and attach to the back of wreath
Place and glue garden greenery at the bottom of wreath
Remove flowers from stem and place on top of greenery
Hang on your door!

Halloween Crafts and Simple Decor

It’s my FAVORITE holiday of all time; Happy Halloween Hooters!

Given the current circumstances of the pandemic and all of the restrictions varying nationwide, I hope everyone is still able to enjoy this festive day. This month I did a few fun crafts with my family and even guided my sister with her first beautiful wreath. All of our crafts were Pinterest inspired, cheap, easy, and straightforward. The projects came out great for the most part- I suck at painting, so I’m not happy with my canvas. Ha! But hey, it was fun considering we enjoyed a couple of “beverages” while crafting.
